Being just a short drive from Chicago, Indianapolis, Grand Rapids, Fort Wayne, South Bend, and the shores of Lake Michigan, Life Action Camp makes the perfect place for your group to conveniently get away.
We can provide as much expertise in different areas as you may want, such as programmed activities, full meal service, media technicians, worship leader and full band, specialized speakers, drinks and snacks for your meetings, and much more. We will work with you to make sure your event is the best it can be, and a Guest Services Coordinator from Life Action Camp will assist in the planning of your entire retreat or event.

The Tabernacle ($300/Day)
This building has an open room with a stage, a fireplace on one side, and men’s and women’s restroom facilities. Seating up to 300 people, it can be equipped with a sound system, ceiling-mounted projector, easel with whiteboard, keyboard, tables, chairs, and coffee service.
The Suites ($100–150/Day)
There are five buildings next to the Tabernacle with open rooms that are useful for smaller groups or for breakout rooms when using the Tabernacle. Suites can seat up to 30 people, and one larger suite can seat 40 people. One of the suites has a bathroom and kitchen. These can be equipped with DVD player, easel with whiteboard, tables, chairs, and coffee service.
The Camp Lodge ($150/Day)
If you have a small group, you may want to meet in a private area of the dining room in the Lodge. It overlooks the lake, and in the cold months you can take care of your group without having to leave the building. This can be equipped with DVD, easel with whiteboard, tables, chairs, and coffee service.
Meeting Space Within Your Accommodations (No Extra Fee)
Some people may opt to meet in the living room of the cottage or chalet, both of which have comfortable furniture, and some have fireplaces. When the temperatures are mild, some have chosen to gather on the screened porch.

Depending on the dynamic of your group, our chefs will work to make sure your tastes are satisfied. Whether you want a buffet for 150 youth, or a banquet for a dozen of your church leader couples, we will cater to your every need.
Our guest services staff will work with you as you plan your menu. Our aim is to serve whatever you like, no matter if your palate longs for prime rib or hot dogs. Once you have made your decision, you can relax, knowing that we’ve got this part of your retreat all taken care of.
Retreat Meal Pricing
Meal costs may vary depending on menu choices and the number of people in your group. The average meal costs are as follows: Dinner: $8/person | Lunch: $7/person | Breakfast: $6/person
*A minimum of 30 people is needed to qualify for full meal service.

The Cottage House, Sleeps 6–10 ($60/Person/Night)
The 3-bedroom Cottage House is our finest offering. It is a centrally located, 1800-square-foot home with 3 bedrooms (1 king, 1 queen, 1 queen w/ bunk), 2 full baths (1 with tub), a full kitchen, a living room with fireplace (and sofa bed), a screened porch, and a washer and dryer.
The Cottage Suites, Sleep 7–10 ($50/Person/Night)
Our newest units are the Cottage Suites. They are centrally located and feature 3 bedrooms (1 main level queen master bedroom, 1 loft level queen, and a 3rd bedroom with 1 bunk and 2 additional twin beds), 2 full baths, a kitchenette, a living room (with sofa bed), a washer and dryer, and a screened porch.
The Chalets, Sleep 7–10 ($50/Person/Night)
The centrally located Chalets offer 3 bedrooms (1 queen, 1 queen w/ bunk, 1 single w/ trundle), a loft with a twin bed, 2 full baths (1 with tub), a full kitchen, a living room (with sofa bed), a washer and dryer, and a sunroom overlooking the lake.
The Hilltop Suites, Sleep 8–10 ($50/Person/Night)
These centrally located Hilltop Suites offer 2 bedrooms (1 queen, one room with 3 bunk beds), 2 full baths, a kitchenette, a living room (with sofa bed), a washer and dryer, and a screened porch.
Hotel-Style Units, Sleep 3–6 ($40/Person/Night)
These centrally located rooms sleep between 3 and 6 people, depending on which layout. Each room has a queen bed, bunk beds, climate control, private bath, mini-refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker, and some feature a screened porch.
